The Office of Undergraduate Admissions seeks enthusiastic candidates who are interested in connecting students to experiences and higher education opportunities at the University of Arizona to apply for the position of Admissions Transfer Counselor. This role is responsible for engaging directly with prospective students and families, with a focus on prospective transfer students. The Admissions Transfer Counselor position fosters relationships with community college, high school, counselors, administrators and advisers, community-based organizations, and other faculty and staff. This role supports prospective students and supporters through admissions processes, educational planning, paying for college, and enrollment services, and has a primary office space on a Maricopa Community College campus. Through interpreting academic, student services, and admissions policies and requirements, the Admissions Transfer Counselor is an effective communicator and creative problem solver, initiating proactive outreach efforts to prospective and incoming Wildcats. With the unique opportunity to manage a recruitment territory, this position is responsible for the administrative functions related to their role and proper expenditure of budget resources for recruitment activities, programs, and travel. This position will allow for flexible/hybrid work arrangements. Some duties can be performed remotely, but others will require an in-person presence on the Maricopa Community College campus. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
