Admissions Manager

Magical BeginningsBeverly, MA
$70,000 - $80,000Hybrid

About The Position

Every family who reaches out to us is in the most hopeful — and most vulnerable — moment of their parenting life. They are deciding who to trust with the most important person in their world. As our Admissions Manager, you'll guide families through the childcare enrollment process, turning interest into confidence and tours into enrollments. This is a relationship-driven admissions and consultative sales role where empathy, persistence, and follow-through directly impact the growth of our early childhood education centers. This is a hybrid position that requires periodic travel to our school locations throughout the region. Candidates must reside in Massachusetts, New York, or Connecticut. This position reports to the Chief Marketing Officer. Magical Beginnings is scaling quickly — Magical Beginnings Learning Centers is one of the fastest-growing early childhood education organizations in the Northeast, with 24 active childcare centers and continued expansion across Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New York. We are building a best-in-class enrollment engine, and we are looking for a closer who believes in the mission as much as they believe in the close. If you are energized by a growing, purpose-driven organization and you know how to earn a family’s commitment, this is your role. The Admissions Manager is the driving force behind family enrollment at Magical Beginnings. You own the admissions process after each childcare tour, guiding families through registration and enrollment. Working closely with Center Directors, you combine consultative sales, relationship building, and exceptional follow-up to turn qualified leads into enrolled families while delivering an outstanding admissions experience. As Magical Beginnings continues to grow through new school acquisitions across the Northeast, you'll also help launch admissions and enrollment operations at newly acquired early childhood education centers. You'll manage lead pipelines, support CRM processes, coach enrollment best practices, and help ensure every new location builds a strong foundation for enrollment success. This is a high-visibility, results-driven role with uncapped earning potential for someone who thrives on building relationships, achieving enrollment goals, and making a meaningful impact.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in inside sales, enrollment management, or admissions, with a documented track record of closing.
  • Financially motivated and commission-driven.
  • Comfortable with consultative sales, asking for the enrollment commitment, addressing objections head-on, and following up persistently without being pushy.
  • A builder. You can walk into a newly acquired school with no pipeline and create one.
  • Disciplined about CRM hygiene and comfortable working from data and dashboards.
  • Warm and genuinely empathetic.
  • Comfortable in a hybrid environment, with occasional travel across Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New York.
  • Reside in Massachusetts, New York, or Connecticut.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in early childhood education, private school admissions, or healthcare enrollment is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Own follow-up for every completed family tour across the portfolio.
  • Manage every opportunity in the CRM, following up by phone, text, and email until the family enrolls or is no longer pursuing care.
  • Address questions, overcome objections, and confidently ask for the registration deposit.
  • Close the registration — secure the deposit and signed agreement, then hand off clean to the Enrollment Coordinator.
  • Serve as a backup in our childcare management system and enter families directly during coverage gaps or high-volume acquisition periods.
  • Keep the CRM immaculate: no lead unlogged, no follow-up unscheduled, every family conversation documented.
  • Make the re-conversion call personally when a seat opens.
  • Launch admissions and enrollment operations for newly acquired schools.
  • Manage inquiries, schedule tours, oversee the enrollment pipeline, and support Directors during transition.
  • Coach Center Directors on effective post-tour follow-up and enrollment conversations.
  • Provide guidance on overcoming objections and improving enrollment conversion.
  • Develop and maintain the admissions and enrollment playbook, including acquisition checklists, communication templates, CRM standards, and Director onboarding tools.
