About The Position

The Enrollment Experience Coordinator serves as a key connector between prospective students and the Highlands College community. This role is responsible for creating high-impact first impressions through campus visits, enrollment events, tours, and relationship-building efforts that help students and families experience the heart, mission, and vision of Highlands College. The coordinator supports recruitment strategy, strengthens engagement throughout the enrollment funnel, and contributes to yield and melt reduction efforts through personalized follow-up and exceptional hospitality.

  • Ability to articulate the value of Highlands College and essential enrollment details to a variety of audiences.
  • Working understanding of Highlands College programs, admissions processes, and student experience.
  • Graduate of Highlands College Undergraduate, Graduate, or HCLI programs.
  • Public speaking, customer service, recruiting, ministry leadership, or sales experience preferred but not required.
  • Prior ambassador or student leadership experience strongly valued.
  • Consistently model Highlands College values through conduct, communication, and relationships.
  • Clearly articulate the mission and distinctives of Highlands College.
  • Demonstrate spiritual maturity and leadership through encouragement, presence, and influence.
  • Represent Highlands College with integrity in every internal and external setting.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary representative of Highlands College at high schools, churches, conferences, recruiting events, and community gatherings.
  • Communicate the mission, academic programs, formation model, and student experience of Highlands College with clarity, passion, and conviction.
  • Build trust and relationships with prospective students, parents, pastors, youth leaders, and ministry partners.
  • Lead engaging and personalized campus tours that create connection and inspire confidence in Highlands College.
  • Identify high-potential prospective students and communicate insights to the Admissions Team.
  • Support recruitment presentations, information sessions, and speaking opportunities as assigned.
  • Assist in planning and executing Discovery Days, Accepted Student Days, campus visits, and other enrollment events.
  • Collaborate with Admissions leadership to strengthen inquiry-to-application and acceptance-to-enrollment engagement strategies.
  • Conduct personalized follow-up through calls, texts, email, and CRM campaigns.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, notes, and reporting related to recruitment activity.
  • Provide field feedback to strengthen messaging, outreach strategy, and overall enrollment effectiveness.
  • Contribute to initiatives designed to improve enrollment yield and reduce student melt.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned in support of enrollment growth and student engagement.
  • Collaborate with Admissions leadership to strengthen inquiry-to-application and acceptance-to-enrollment engagement.
  • Support data-informed follow-up efforts via calls, texts, and email.
  • Contribute to initiatives that improve yield and reduce melt.
  • Assist in planning and execution of Discovery Days, Accepted Student Days, and campus visit experiences.
  • Provide feedback from the field to help refine messaging and recruitment strategy.
  • Maintain accurate CRM updates and assist with recruitment reporting.
  • Help cultivate a culture of ownership, urgency, responsiveness, and excellence within the Admissions Team.
  • Demonstrate leadership through initiative, consistency, and solution-oriented thinking.
  • Assist in mentoring and training ambassadors, student workers, or entry-level teammates when appropriate.
  • Take the initiative to identify operational improvement opportunities and recommend solutions.
  • Lead by example through attitude, teamwork, and service.
