About The Position

West Liberty University is seeking an energetic, student-centered professional to join our Enrollment Services team as an Admissions Events Coordinator. This highly visible position plays a vital role in helping prospective students and their families discover all that WLU has to offer through engaging, personalized campus visit experiences. As the Admissions Events Coordinator, you will oversee every aspect of the campus visitation program, from individual tours and group visits to large-scale recruitment events. You'll serve as a key ambassador for the University, helping students envision themselves as part of the Hilltopper community while leading and mentoring our Student Ambassador team. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Minimum of two years of relevant experience, including student leadership, admissions, recruitment, customer service, marketing, event planning, student affairs, or related experience.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends for recruitment and special events.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree in a related field.
• Experience in higher education, admissions, recruitment, enrollment management, or marketing.
• Experience utilizing CRM systems, databases, or Banner.
• Demonstrated success in event planning, relationship building, or student engagement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Design and coordinate personalized campus visits, tours, and special event experiences for prospective students, families, and groups.
• Lead, train, and supervise the WLU Student Ambassador Program.
• Plan, organize, and participate in admissions recruitment events both on and off campus.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for visitors throughout their campus experience.
• Conduct post-visit conversations with students and families, providing guidance and connecting them with appropriate campus resources.
• Utilize CRM technology to manage visitor communications, track participation, and support recruitment initiatives.
• Collaborate with faculty, staff, students, and departments across campus to create welcoming and impactful visit experiences.
• Contribute to the University's enrollment goals by creating exceptional first impressions for future students.
