About The Position
Whitehall Borough Post Acute is a 166-bed post-acute care facility. We are seeking an Admissions Director to join our team. This role involves reviewing referrals, coordinating with clinical and marketing teams, preparing patient materials, and ensuring compliance with standards, all while working under the supervision of the Marketing Director. Requirements
- Ability to focus for long periods of time.
- Understanding of clinical terminology.
- Self-starter.
- Excellent computer skills and ability to pick up new programs quickly.
- Compassion for a vulnerable population and the patience to handle difficult situations.
Responsibilities
- Review referrals to determine if the facility can meet the patient's needs.
- Coordinate with clinical and marketing teams to make determinations.
- Prepare packets and ensure patient rooms are ready.
- Work under supervision of the Marketing Director to ensure compliance with current state, federal, and local standards.
