About The Position

The Admissions Counselor will maintain knowledge of programs offered by the university, understand admissions procedures and policies, and utilize professional communication to enroll and retain future students. This role involves following up with student inquiries via phone, electronic resources, and in-person interactions, guiding students through the enrollment process, and ensuring they meet all admissions requirements. The counselor will use Campus Nexus for follow-up and note-taking.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree required
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills
• High sense of urgency with strong follow-up skills.
• Ability to connect with a diverse group of individuals.

Nice To Haves

• Master degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Call daily inquiries to conduct interviews for enrollments.
• Catalog phone call records and interviews in daily admissions report.
• Follow-up with prior inquiries and future students.
• Give guided tours of the campus.
• Collaborate with the admissions team to develop new strategies.
• Review start plan with Campus Vice President on a weekly basis.
• Attend staff and team meetings.
• Assist in outside student recruitment activities.
