About The Position

Northeast Recovery is a network of Drug and Alcohol Addiction Treatment Facilities that provide a variety of levels of care to those who are prepared to begin their journey toward recovery. We are looking for a full-time Admissions Coordinator at Northeast Recovery in Quincy, Massachusetts. The Admissions Coordinator is responsible for completing successful admissions from start to finish. This includes answering inbound calls, completing outbound follow-ups, and documenting all correspondence. The role also involves coordinating with staff to ensure patient admissions to a treatment facility follow all appropriate guidelines.

Requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to handle multiple priorities with a sense of urgency.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving and time management skills.
  • Exceptional customer/client service with the ability to resolve service issues.
  • Knowledge of Drug-free Workplace Policies.
  • Knowledge of Addiction Issues, co-occurring disorders, and the 12-Step Recovery Program.
  • High school diploma with 6+ months experience working in Admissions.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer Service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to the admissions department census goal and admission numbers by week/month.
  • Understand and adhere to department and company KPIs and goals.
  • Create and maintain treatment reports on all admissions and inquiries using the tools directed by your supervisor.
  • Serve as a resource to potential patients, their loved ones, or any other related party inquiring about treatment services.
  • Adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  • Follow QA on admissions.
  • Answer phones and maintain professionalism throughout all calls.
  • Schedule transportation and track incoming flights for clients attending our programs.
  • Present programs in detail to family members and potential clients. Remove all "admission barriers" on the front end.
  • Communicate any client needs with the appropriate departments; clinical, UR, case management, client advocacy, etc.
  • Verify verification of benefits and relay information and OOP to the family and/or client accurately. Stay current on types of insurance that works for the facility.
  • Ensure an assessment is coordinated for the admission and is approved by the appropriate party.
  • Identify medical and psychiatric emergent needs on the front end of admission and notify appropriate team members and address the needs prior to admission.
  • Enter appropriate documentation in KIPU, Salesforce, and all associated systems as instructed by supervisor.
  • Update Salesforce with any cancellations, admissions and notifications.
  • Relay necessary information in a concise manner to management, peers, and client's/family members post admission and any concerns that arise after admission work with the appropriate team members to resolve the issue.
  • Follow detailed processes and procedures as set forth by department managers to ensure a safe and accurate admission.
  • Have knowledge on all programs offered at facility. Stay current on all changes regarding programs and services offered at facility.
