About The Position
Unhooked Recovery is seeking a compassionate and organized Admissions Coordinator to help guide clients and families through the admissions process for our behavioral health and substance abuse treatment programs.
Requirements
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable speaking with clients, families, and providers over the phone
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and electronic documentation systems
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Must possess or be eligible to obtain a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card
- CPR/First Aid certification required (or ability to obtain)
- Negative TB test required
Nice To Haves
- Experience in behavioral health, substance abuse treatment, or healthcare preferred
- Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply
- Compassionate, professional, detail-oriented, and able to remain calm in fast-paced situations
- Passionate about helping individuals begin their recovery journey
Responsibilities
- Coordinate admissions and referrals for inpatient and outpatient programs
- Verify insurance/AHCCCS eligibility
- Schedule assessments and maintain accurate documentation in EHR
- Communicate with clinical teams, families, and referral sources
- Maintain HIPAA and 42 CFR confidentiality standards
- Provide excellent customer service and support during the admissions process
