About The Position
We are seeking to hire an Admissions Coordinator - Part-Time at Mother Angeline McCrory Manor, a Faith-Based, Nonprofit, Short-Term Rehabilitation and Skilled Geriatric Care facility sponsored by the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm. We have provided spiritually motivated care for the elderly of Columbus for over 65 years. Caring for someone isn’t just a job, it’s a compassionate calling based on deep-rooted spiritual beliefs. Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Long-Term Care admissions experience required.
- Skilled Nursing Facility experience for a minimum of 2 years.
Nice To Haves
- Nursing Experience is preferred.
- Mission driven with a passion for working with elders.
Responsibilities
- Meeting with prospective and new residents and families whenever the Admissions Director is out of the building.
- Focus on the Case Management aspects of Admissions.
- Reviewing referrals and accepting new residents.
- Verifying insurance information.
- Working with residents and families on discharge planning.
