About The Position

The Admission Coordinator (AC) is responsible for responding to initial inquiries associated with the Admission Center by answering calls, texts, and emails from prospective patients from across the country in need of addiction treatment. This position engages with prospective patients identifying their specific need(s) while proposing the appropriate treatment solution(s). This role requires a foundational understanding of psychiatric and addiction treatment, along with the ability to interpret verbal and non-verbal cues to build rapport and trust. Success in this role is defined by the ability to consistently connect with patients, communicate with empathy and clarity, facilitate timely and appropriate admissions that support long‑term recovery, and thoroughly document each interaction in the company’s CRM platform.

Requirements

  • High School Graduate/Equivalent required, Voc. Tech school degree preferred.
  • 0-1 year related experience required
  • Minimum of 6 months – 1 year of experience in transactional/relationship sales preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent listening skills and the ability to recognize verbal and non-verbal cues
  • Knowledge of psychiatric and addiction treatment and administration.

Nice To Haves

  • 1-3 years related experience preferred
  • Voc. Tech school degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Answers phone calls, emails, chats, and texts in a timely manner according to guidelines from prospective patients, referral accounts, mobile assessors, and business development reps.
  • Records all patient-related interactions and information in the CRM platform accurately and completely.
  • Provides reports, reviews documentation, and serves as backup for calls, emails, chats, and texts as required.
  • Sets the patient at ease by explaining the evaluation and admission process and providing facility information.
  • Follows up with patients as needed or as requested by managers.
  • Identifies outpatient leads and refers to the appropriate team member.
