About The Position

Atlas Immersion Academy is seeking an Admissions & Community Manager to drive enrollment. This role is responsible for managing the entire enrollment funnel, from initial outreach and event planning to conducting tours and following up with prospective families. The ideal candidate is a natural connector with strong sales and event coordination skills, focused on attracting and enrolling the right families into the academy. This position combines sales, event coordination, and marketing efforts to ensure a high level of community presence and enrollment follow-up.

Requirements

  • Warm, gregarious personality that connects naturally across cultures and backgrounds.
  • Sales or closing experience (admissions, real estate, healthcare coordination, or similar roles).
  • Fluent English (written and spoken).
  • Professional presentation skills.
  • Comfortable with basic tech and CRM tools.
  • Willingness to use AI tools in workflow.
  • Availability for occasional evenings/weekends (2-4 weekend events per month).

Nice To Haves

  • Spanish or French language skills.
  • Knowledge of early childhood development or education.
  • Childcare or education industry experience.
  • Familiarity with Portland-area schools and community.
  • Basic graphic design skills (Canva).

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute open houses, farmers market tables, and community events to attract new families.
  • Represent Atlas professionally at various community events and mixers.
  • Coordinate event logistics with campus directors, ensuring smooth execution.
  • Oversee the production of professional signage, banners, and flyers for all campuses.
  • Collaborate with marketing partners to maintain active and on-brand social content and promotions.
  • Utilize AI tools and Canva to create enrollment materials.
  • Conduct in-person tours for prospective families, providing a positive first impression.
  • Perform warm follow-up via calls, texts, and emails to families who have toured.
  • Employ a consultative approach to understand family needs and connect them to programs.
  • Address family concerns regarding pricing, timing, or program fit.
  • Collaborate with the virtual CRM manager/caller for seamless lead handoff and follow-up.
  • Track contacts and outcomes in the CRM system.
