Admissions Application Reader - (part-time/remote/flexible hours)
About The Position
The Admissions Application Reader position is responsible for learning and thoroughly understanding the admissions application reading process. In this position, you will be assigned a set of admissions applications to read and score based on pre-determined guidelines. You will play the crucial role of helping to shape the incoming class of BYU students as you support the admissions office in their effort to find applicants who are the best fit for the institution. Brigham Young University strongly prefers to hire faithful members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints must hold and be worth to hold a current temple recommend.
Requirements
- High school graduation and 4 years of work experience
- Advanced reading comprehension
- Ability to effectively manage time
- Ability to follow instructions
- Responsible and reliable
- Ability to keep confidences
- Basic computer skills
- Access to internet and computers is required to perform this job

- Bachelor’s degree from BYU
Responsibilities
- Review applications and score based on a rubric.
- Input responses into the reader portal for admissions purposes.
- Stay current on reader communications and updates through Slack and email.
