About The Position

The Department of Admissions and Recruitment is seeking to hire Seasonal Admissions Application Readers to join their team for graduate admission, utilizing established criteria and professional judgment. Readers must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality. The seasonal position is from July 1, 2026 to March 1, 2027. Readers need to be available a minimum of 15 hours per week and can work a maximum of 19 hours per week. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree.
Ability to read PDF files and utilize EIS/Peoplesoft/WebAdmit.
Ability to work remotely and independently.
Ability to provide own computer for reading.
Understand the process of admissions and recruitment, which involves critically evaluating applications, following instructions, and paying attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Review graduate school applications for the University of North Texas Health Science Center and submit a set number of applications utilizing established criteria and professional judgment.
Follow rubric to score graduate school applications.
Be able to navigate and work in different software/platforms such as PeopleSoft, WebAdMIT, TMDSAS, Teams, Outlook and Microsoft Suite.
