About The Position

The Admissions and Recruitment Specialist will be an integral part of the Department of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Science’s academic programs, which include the DPT program (150 students), PhD in Rehabilitation Science (two students admitted every two years), and residency programs (currently acute care, orthopedic, neurologic, and women’s health). This individual will be responsible for the DPT, PhD, and residency admissions strategic planning, design, and execution with particular attention to equal opportunity and non-discrimination. Pivotal to this role is the evaluation and assessment of current strategies and policies, as well as presenting the programs and engaging with key constituents and stakeholders at both a local and national level. This role will work collaboratively with the Learner Recruitment and Admissions Committee.

Requirements

  • Experience in admissions and recruitment strategic planning, design, and execution.
  • Knowledge of equal opportunity and non-discrimination principles in admissions.
  • Ability to evaluate and assess admission strategies and policies.
  • Skills in presenting programs and engaging with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience working collaboratively with committees.
