About The Position

This position is located on the General Medicine Unit (26 Beds) at Ardmore East, where compassionate, evidence-based care is provided for adults in a safe and supportive environment. The unit cares for adults with complex, non-surgical illnesses, often involving multiple comorbidities. The focus is on dignity, independence, and holistic well-being for every patient. The team works collaboratively to deliver personalized treatment plans that address medical needs, ensuring the highest standards of adult population care. Ambient Listening, voice activated documentation, is a tool used to record and transcribe patient-nurse conversations in real-time to generate automated flowsheet documentation.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Motivated to work autonomously to get tasks completed
• At least two years RN experience

Nice To Haves

• Med/Surg experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Responsible for assisting with admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Assisting the Primary RN with care tasks and skills as needed.
• Documentation of tasks completed.
• Transporting patients as needed.
• Assisting the Primary RN with Rapid Response transfers.
• Collaboration with NAs to ensure documentation compliance is met.
