About The Position

The Center at Val Vista is a skilled nursing facility that serves patients needing physical rehabilitation and/or complex nursing care. Our highly qualified, caring staff provides care in a beautiful, hotel like atmosphere to help our patients achieve strength and functionality. Skilled-nursing care, family involvement, psychological care and discharge planning complement a well-rounded, individualized program and encourages each patient's transition to their highest functional level. With state of the art equipment and unparalleled comfort and amenities, our physician-driven care plan is designed to maximize the quality of our care. Currently, The Center at Val Vista is looking for a weekend admissions coordinator to join our weekend pool. This fast paced position requires a positive team member who can work well under pressure and is comfortable with multi-tasking.

Requirements

• Must be able to pass background check and drug test
• Must have a valid fingerprint clearance card

Responsibilities

• Receive and follow work schedule/instructions from your supervisor and as outlined in our established policies and procedures
• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents in accordance with established policies and procedures
• Attach and document preadmission information/paperwork in the EMR system
• Abide by all HIPPA requirements - Maintain confidentiality.
• Insurance authorization
• Scanning, faxing, emailing, and other clerical duties as required for the job
