The Administrator of the Hospice House provides leadership and direction for all clinical and operational functions of the inpatient hospice facility. Reporting to the Vice President of External Services, the Administrator ensures the delivery of high-quality, compassionate care consistent with Medicare CoPs, CHAP accreditation standards, state licensure, and organizational policies. This position serves as the daily on-site leader responsible for patient care coordination, staff management, quality improvement, and facility operations. The Hospice House Administrator is responsible for providing input to the budget, and meeting or exceeding the program’s budget. Promote communication and collaboration in developing, monitoring, evaluating and revising hospice patient care plans. Audit interdisciplinary documentation to assure accuracy and timeliness. The Administrator provides oversight of interdisciplinary hospice house services, including nursing, spiritual care, housekeeping, dining, volunteer services, and related support functions. The Administrator of Hospice partners with executive leadership, clinical teams, and community stakeholders to support census growth, operational excellence, and exceptional patient and family experiences.
