Bryce Jordan Center is seeking Administrator/Stand Managers to provide leadership and direction of operational support to BJC employees such as cashiers, customer service representatives and food service and production workers. Oversees a broad range of customer service-related activities across the department. Responsible for Pre/Post event inventories, proper check-in of all wage and NPO (Non-profit organizations) groups, and communicating event notes, expectations, and policies. This role involves overseeing head cashiers and head cooks to ensure adherence to systems, procedures, and policies, and ensuring all Pre/Post paperwork and cash handling policies are followed. The position requires maintaining a neat, clean, and organized work area, and providing training and/or supervision of student staff and Non-Profit organizations. Additionally, the role involves working on the serving counter and food stations, being knowledgeable about menus and ingredients, ensuring correct portion sizes, and moving food as required. Responsibilities include cooking to order, finishing short preparation foods, dispensing food according to guidelines, setting up serving lines, preparing various food items, and preparing and serving specialty beverages. The role also requires following simple recipes, proper food storage, stocking, rotating, and replenishing products, and operating various kitchen equipment. Cleaning work areas, dining areas, and equipment, ensuring general cleanliness and sanitation, monitoring food temperatures, and maintaining temperature logs are also key duties. The position may also involve taking orders and ringing up sales on a cash register.
