The Administrator of Clinical Services is responsible for aligning clinical services with the Model of Leadership and Service through program design and development. This role provides consultation and education to childcare teams, and supervision to counseling staff and interns. The Administrator oversees the counseling and neurofeedback department, ensuring their interventions align with the Cal Farley Model of Leadership and Service, vision, mission, approach, and all licensing regulations and COA standards. They also oversee Phase 1 Certification in Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics for clinical staff and provide training to Boys Ranch staff on clinical issues. The position may involve individual and group counseling, and requires staying current with research and program development in clinical and neurofeedback services to ensure best practices. The role also involves maintaining appropriate interaction and boundaries with residents, ensuring regular and punctual attendance, and overseeing the Clinical Internship Program by fostering relationships with graduate programs across Texas to recruit quality interns. The Administrator will provide supervision, training, and guidance to assigned staff and interns, manage budgets for the Neurofeedback and Clinical Intervention Services department, and maintain a progressive orientation towards improving youth care programming. They will assist in the design, implementation, and evaluation of clinical and neurofeedback interventions, make clinical diagnoses, and collaborate with staff for external referrals and service design. The role may include participation in weekly team meetings, assisting in the design and facilitation of Intensive Team Meetings and therapeutic group processes, and implementing childcare programming in accordance with Cal Farley’s Model of Leadership and Service. Crisis intervention for residents, including approved verbal and physical intervention techniques and assessments, is also a responsibility. Additionally, the Administrator may assist in designing and evaluating therapeutic Equine programs and must meet requirements for licensing and credentials. Administrative On-Call duties may be assigned.
