About The Position

This program is a structured, hands-on pathway that prepares high-potential healthcare professionals to become licensed Nursing Home Administrators (NHA). Under the guidance of an experienced Preceptor, participants will learn every aspect of skilled nursing facility operations and graduate ready to lead their own building. This is designed as a launchpad for long-term leadership within the organization, offering a direct path to an Administrator role upon completion and licensure.

Requirements

  • Experience in one of the following SNF roles: Admissions / Marketing, Social Services, Business Office Management, or other department-head or high-level administrative roles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Nursing, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of SNF culture and operations.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Professional stability and reliability.
  • Desire to grow into a licensed Administrator.
  • Ability to commit to a full-time, onsite program.

Responsibilities

  • Rotate through all major departments to gain a 360° understanding of SNF operations.
  • Learn clinical operations & quality of care.
  • Understand department head workflows & leadership.
  • Learn state & federal regulatory compliance.
  • Gain knowledge in budgeting, payroll, and financial management.
  • Understand human resources & staffing strategy.
  • Learn marketing, admissions, and census development.
