Administrator in Training (AIT)
About The Position
The Administrator in Training (AIT) program at Marquis Companies is a 6-12 month training course designed for compassionate individuals to learn the day-to-day responsibilities of a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator. This program involves hands-on experience, working with a preceptor at an assigned Marquis facility, rotating through each department, attending classroom modules on leadership, and preparing for State and Federal Nursing Home Administrator exams. Marquis Companies operates 26 senior care facilities and provides rehab and pharmacy services nationwide, with a family of over 4,000 employees united by the purpose of being champions of every journey.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree required
- 3+ years of supervisory experience as a department manager in Staffing, Admissions, and/or Social Services in a Skilled Nursing Facility is required.
- Have resilience and the ability to motivate others.
- Ability to have difficult conversations with respect and fortitude.
- Passionate about seniors and helping them live the best rest of their lives!
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Responsibilities
