Administrator II-Logistics (Shipping)

The individual in this position will be responsible for preparing, moving, and shipping materials and finished goods in a safe, accurate, and timely manner. This role supports daily warehouse and shipping operations by ensuring orders are correctly picked, packed, labeled, and dispatched according to company and customer requirements. Requirements
- 2-3 years strong shipping and logistics experience
- Shipping both international and domestic.
- Creating airway bills in FedEx, UPS and DHL systems.
- Understanding 3 party carriers eg: KWE, Morrison etc
- Understanding of Invoices, HTS/ECCN numbers, EEI filing
- Operation of a forklift
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Interpersonal skills using tact, patience and courtesy.
- Customer service oriented
- Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Operate warehouse equipment.
- Lift, move, sort and store objects.
- Operate a computer terminal and warehouse-related software.
- Work independently with little direction.
- Observe health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities
- Participate in daily warehouse activities, including shipments to customers, vendors and other MCHP sites, both domestic and international.
- Learn the ERP systems that are used in the warehouse to include BaaN, AX2012 and the SA tool.
- Using the Ace government system, for filing shipments over $2500 in value.
- Prepare shipping documents for all shipments leaving.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Maintain regular attendance.
- Willing to work overtime, when required.
