About The Position

The Greater Toronto Airports Authority (GTAA) is seeking an Administrator, HR Technology to play a critical role in ensuring the effective operation, integrity, and continuous improvement of GTAA’s Human Resources Information Systems. This role supports organization-wide HR processes by maintaining accurate employee data, ensuring compliance with collective bargaining agreements, and providing dependable system support across the employee lifecycle. The Administrator will collaborate with Payroll, IT, vendors, and HR stakeholders to enable reliable reporting, timely issue resolution, and system enhancements, contributing to a high-performing, data-driven HR function that supports Toronto Pearson's transformation into a next-generation airport.

Requirements

  • Experience working in Human Resources or HR operations, with exposure to HRIS and/or Time & Attendance systems.
  • Strong proficiency in data management, reporting, and Excel, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive and confidential employee information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Working knowledge of HR processes, policies, and collective bargaining environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot system issues effectively.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, enabling collaboration across HR, Payroll, IT, and business stakeholders.
  • The ability to prioritize tasks, manage competing demands, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A university degree or college diploma in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Ability to obtain and retain Transportation Security Clearance at the designated level for the position.

Nice To Haves

  • CHRP designation or progress toward certification (considered an asset).

Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely, accurate entry and maintenance of employee data across HRIS and Time & Attendance systems, supporting all phases of the employee lifecycle.
  • Uphold data integrity, confidentiality, and compliance with internal standards, collective bargaining agreements (CBAs), and applicable legislation.
  • Prepare, review, and validate HR system outputs, including offer letters, employee records, and reporting data.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for HRIS and Time & Attendance inquiries, providing effective troubleshooting and issue resolution.
  • Partner closely with Payroll, IT, and third-party vendors to ensure seamless system integration, updates, and ongoing system performance.
  • Audit HR data and system processes regularly to identify discrepancies, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Support system configuration activities, including defining data fields, tables, and reporting structures.
  • Develop and deliver basic training materials and ad hoc training sessions to strengthen user capability and adoption of HR technology.
  • Communicate clearly and proactively with stakeholders regarding system issues, changes, and resolutions.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance HR processes, data quality, and system efficiency.
