Here's what you'd do: The client is seeking an experienced Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) Administrator to join our team. The Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) Administrator will be responsible for managing all aspects of the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) process, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, and providing exceptional support to our employees and management team.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) administration

Responsibilities

  • Administer and manage all aspects of the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) process, including leave requests, eligibility determinations, and certification requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records related to Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) leave, including leave requests, medical certifications, and employee notifications.
  • Provide exceptional support to employees and the management team, answering questions and providing guidance related to Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) leave and related policies.
  • Collaborate with HR team members and supervisors to ensure consistent application of Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) policies and procedures.
  • Assist with monitoring and updating relevant timekeeping systems to ensure accurate utilization of approved Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) hours.
  • Deliver Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) training and awareness programs for employees and the management team, as needed.
  • Conduct periodic audits of Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) records and processes to ensure compliance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Stay abreast of changes in Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) regulations and best practices and provide guidance and training to the HR team and management as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure the protection of employee medical information in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.
