About The Position

Plains Area Mental Health, Inc. is a Community Mental Health Center with multiple locations in Northwest Iowa. PAMHC has an opening for a full-time Administrative Support Professional Floater based in our Cherokee location. 40 hours per week.

Requirements

  • Medical Office Experience
  • Computer Skills
  • Valid Driver's License and Insurance

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Greeting clients
  • Scheduling appointments
  • Verifying insurance
  • Collecting and applying client payments to accounts
  • Maintaining strict patient confidentiality under HIPAA regulations
  • Acting as a floater between offices to cover as needed
  • Displaying flexibility and adapting to different office environments and procedures
  • Ensuring continuity of operation across all sites
