Requirements

  • Equivalent to three (3) years of full-time, general office clerical work that has provided the applicant with the knowledge and abilities listed.
  • Demonstrates excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Organizes multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Maintains confidential records and exercises sound judgment and discretion.
  • Communicates effectively with students, faculty, staff, and campus partners.
  • Works independently while collaborating effectively in a fast-paced administrative environment.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • Equivalent to full-time college or university education/vocational school training in business or job-related field may be substituted for up to two (2) years of the required experience on a year for year basis.
  • Demonstrates proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, PeopleSoft, EAB, and Adobe Sign.

Responsibilities

  • Provides front office support, schedules student appointments and workshops, maintains financial and personnel records, processes administrative documents, prepares advisement materials, coordinates departmental projects and events, and supports the daily operations of the ACECS Student Services Center/EOP.
  • Acts as receptionist; assessing student needs and scheduling appointments and workshops.
  • Makes referrals to appropriate campus units.
  • Assists ASC and unit director with daily operations: maintains accounts, database system, and financial records.
  • Initiates service requests, travel requests and reimbursements.
  • Helps the director, professional advisors, and ASC with projects and events.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
