About The Position

Puget Sound Energy's IT Infrastructure team is looking for qualified candidates to fill an open Administrative Specialist position. Specific details regarding the work arrangements for this position will be discussed in further detail during the interview process. This role provides administrative and analytical support for the department, performing basic data gathering or research in support of management. The specialist will organize and coordinate meetings, handle sensitive and confidential information, use independent and discretionary judgment, and coordinate tasks and assignments simultaneously. They will also interact at the Officer level with professionalism and use various computer applications to create charts, correspondence, reports, and other work as needed. The role upholds safety compliance standards and promotes a culture of total safety, conducting business honestly, ethically, and in accordance with core values and Code of Conduct, ensuring all duties are performed in accordance with regulatory compliance obligations.

Requirements

  • High School education or equivalent.
  • Extensive experience using word-processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation software.
  • Previous administrative support experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in a utility.
  • Experience working in SAP and/or CLX.

Responsibilities

  • Enters time for department personnel.
  • Inputs and retrieves data from various computer applications.
  • Gathers and organizes paperwork and data for department.
  • Handles travel arrangements for department personnel.
  • Maintains office supply inventory.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
