About The Position

We are seeking a Temp Administrative Specialist to join our team. This role will work under the direction of the Senior Manager of Environment of Care to provide office/administrative support and requires the ability to work independently, take initiative in supporting the functions and creating a positive working environment while coordinating day-to-day office needs. The Administrative Specialist will cover the front desk at site with responsibilities such as answering agency calls and welcoming guests in a professional and friendly manner. This is a full-time, temporary position that will provide additional support as needed until December 31, 2026.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in an office setting
  • High school diploma or GED, required.
  • At least 21 years of age
  • Pass background check, physical, and drug screening.
  • A valid driver’s license in the state you reside in
  • Proof of current vehicle insurance
  • Reliable transportation

Responsibilities

  • Answering the phone, directing phone calls, screening clients through a secured door in a professional manner.
  • Is responsible for lobby, front desk, and other assigned areas to welcome and assist visitors, clients, vendors, volunteers, etc.
  • Executes in a timely manner all administrative and clerical tasks assigned.
  • Assist finance in processing check deposits
  • Prepares reception area and programs for relocation
  • Track/Manage/Order Inventories as well as manage storage areas.
  • Manage receipt & distribution of mail, calendar bookings, desk tags, and other team member relations related tasks assigned.
  • Order office supplies for location as needed.
  • Keeps conference and break rooms tidy and stocked.
  • Administrative tasks as assigned by Senior Manager of Environment of Care.
  • Must be able to handle emergency situations, including but not limited to, fire, tornado, threats of violence and medical emergencies.
