About The Position

The primary purpose of this position is to analyze customer data, work plans, and employment goals to ensure participation in required activities and help individuals overcome employment barriers. The Work Activity Coordinator places customers into job-readiness and employment initiatives while entering, monitoring, and auditing data across the WORKS and E&E (Eligibility & Enrollment) systems to maintain cross-system accuracy. Additionally, the incumbent supports customers throughout the employment process by securing necessary resources, identifying relevant training and career opportunities, and conducting regular check-ins in both office and community settings to track progress and build trust.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.
  • One year of experience performing administrative staff, clerical, clerical technical, or secretarial work.
  • Candidates may substitute 30 credit hours from an accredited college or university for the required experience.
  • Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a non-commissioned officer involving staff work requiring regular use of independent judgment and analysis in applying and interpreting rules and regulations in accordance with agency laws and policies on a year-for-year basis for the required experience.

Nice To Haves

  • One year of experience tracking expenditures using Microsoft Office and Google Sheets, alongside extracting case data from E&E and WORKS to develop, prepare, and present comprehensive reports.
  • One year of experience engaging participants in co-creating and executing tailored employment plans designed to build job readiness and support career goals.
  • One year of experience building strategic relationships with community stakeholders to expand resources, coordinate funding, and eliminate barriers to success for program participants.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify participant needs and develop individualized employment plans.
  • Develop and expand employment pipelines by cultivating strategic partnerships with employers that prioritize inclusive hiring practices.
  • Maintain accurate participant records, progress notes, and outcome data, ensuring real-time entry of attendance and employment results into E&E and WORKS to ensure cross-system data integrity.
  • Proven track record of cultivating positive relationships with internal teams, community partners, and program participants through clear communication and high-impact customer service.
