About The Position

The Greensboro CDSA is in the Department of Health and Human Services in Division of Child and Family Well-Being. It is the lead agency for the N.C. Infant-Toddler Program which provides supports and services for families and their children, birth to three, who have developmental delays and/or disabilities. Children's Developmental Services Agencies (CDSAs) are the local agencies that implement the NCITP across North Carolina, working with local service providers to help families help their children succeed. The primary purpose of this position is to provide a variety of business and clerical support functions that allow the CDSA to maximize agency revenues, staff efficiency and comply with state and federal requirements. This position serves as a member of a team with shared work responsibilities involving accounts payable, medical records, billing and reimbursement. This can include work processing of client paperwork, data entry into various computer systems and databases and verifying the accuracy of data and billing through report writing. Although located primarily in Greensboro, the position may also provide office support remotely or onsite for satellite locations in Gibsonville and Asheboro, assist with facilities management, motor fleet related activities, equipment maintenance and provide support to direct care staff. This position will provide assistance as-needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and two years of related administrative experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be able to drive and travel by car across the CDSA’s defined catchment area.
