This position is responsible for workforce development for a department of over 300 staff across five divisions. This includes representing DAIL in numerous contexts, leading committees and work groups comprised of other departments and agencies, heading the department's accessibility initiatives, developing best practices for a variety of key processes and policies, and managing records management systems. The role requires a candidate who is action-oriented, collaborates effectively, communicates clearly, manages complexity, cultivates innovation, possesses organizational savvy, drives results, demonstrates situational adaptability, is tech-savvy, drives vision and purpose, and optimizes work processes. The position offers a Monday-Friday schedule and a supportive hybrid work environment, with twelve paid state holidays and a robust benefits package.
