About The Position

The Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation & Reentry (ADCRR) is seeking a qualified individual to provide administrative duties to the unit manager. Requirements

  • General office practices and procedures
  • Personal computers, using Microsoft Suite and Google Suite
  • Business English and basic mathematics

  • Possession of, and ability to retain a current, valid state-issued driver’s license appropriate to the assignment.
  • Employees who drive on state business are subject to driver's license record checks, must maintain acceptable driving records and must complete any required driver training.
  • Employees are required to take a Tuberculosis (TB) test during their New Employee Orientation and every year thereafter.
  • All newly hired State employees are subject to and must successfully complete the Electronic Employment Eligibility Verification Program (E-Verify).

  • Two years professional office experience and proficient in Google Suite.

Responsibilities

  • Reviews and summarizes correspondence/data to generate letters or reports
  • Screens and routes incoming calls and answers general inquires
  • Summarizes data to generate reports
  • Serves as the unit timekeeper
  • Establishes and maintains administrative /confidential files
  • Generates purchase orders and maintains the unit office supplies
  • Functions as lead office support/training other clerical staff
  • Maintains post orders/department policies and procedures
  • Drives on State business
  • Performs other duties appropriate to the assignment
