The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) is responsible for managing and protecting the state’s renewable natural resources. The Office of the Secretary provides leadership and support services for departmental programs. This role requires proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and Adobe Acrobat Pro, strong organizational and time management skills, and the ability to prioritize multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment. Excellent verbal and written communication, analytical, critical thinking, and observational abilities are essential, along with a keen attention to detail. The successful candidate will work effectively both independently and collaboratively, demonstrating professionalism and courtesy. Strong clerical and administrative support skills, including accurate recordkeeping and document management, are also required. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.
