As an Administrative Program Coordinator, your work directly assists in the coordination and development of innovative policies and improvement initiatives. A caregiver in this role works variable shifts between 8:30 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. and must be flexible to work occasional weekends or evenings. This position requires occasional travel to Wayne College, a satellite location, several times a year.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree and two years of administrative experience or customer service OR High School Diploma/GED and four years of experience OR Bachelor’s Degree
  • Computer skills and experience with software applications

Responsibilities

  • With guidance from the Director, lead or coordinate multiple projects and policy initiatives.
  • Update, monitor, and manage databases.
  • Develop scorecards and milestones to track progress.
  • Analyze project improvements and progress.
  • Report on discrepancies and variances.
  • Coordinate project prioritization and assist with policy and initiative implementation.
  • Assist with the scheduling, coordination, preparation, and communication of meetings.
  • Attend meetings and record key outcomes.
  • Support all office administrative functions.
  • Develop and maintain updates.
  • Coordinate applications for three EMT classes and two paramedic cohorts each year, totaling five classes annually.
  • Manage admissions process logistics.
  • Handle the distribution of information, paperwork, homework assignments, forms, and updates for both students and instructors throughout the course session.
  • Assist with graduation ceremonies and periodic testing events, sometimes held on Saturdays.
  • Manage routine communication and organization for classroom and program needs.
