About The Position

Under general supervision, this role maintains and updates the regional office case processing database, including closure dates, routing information, and case recommendations. The position assists with routing cases and processing charges, prepares and submits cases to Central Office for the Commissioner Agenda and the Confirmation Agenda, and responds to public records requests. Responsibilities include printing labels, creating and compiling reports, and preparing case folders for investigations. The Administrative Professional 1 provides assistance to the assigned Task Force Team, which involves preparing meeting agendas, attending strategy sessions, taking notes, assisting with special projects, and providing status updates. Additionally, the role performs related clerical functions such as answering telephones, responding to general inquiries, screening calls, taking messages, greeting visitors, maintaining filing systems, creating intake packets, logging and distributing mail, maintaining case logs, and assisting with regional payroll. The position requires operating personal computers, photocopiers, facsimile machines, and other general office equipment, as well as preparing outgoing mail and proofreading copy.

Requirements

  • 1 yr. trg. or 1 yr. exp. in secretarial science or business office applications.
  • For positions requiring technical terminology, applicants must also have 6 mos. trg. or 6 mos. exp. in relevant technical terminology.
  • Equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with routing cases & processing charges (e.g., walk-in, mail-in, online).
  • Assists with preparing & submitting cases to Central Office for the Commissioner Agenda & the Confirmation Agenda.
