Unleash your potential and make an impact! DPS is currently accepting applications for application for an Administrative Officer II (PCard/E-Procurement/HelpDesk Manager). This position is located in Raleigh, NC. This is an INTERNAL POSTING open ONLY to current North Carolina State Government and UNC System employees and eligible RIF candidates. Temporary employees are also eligible to apply. This position manages the day-to-day operations of the DPS E-Procurement Helpdesk, P-Card Program, and related training and compliance functions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an appropriately accredited institution and three years of experience in personnel, budgeting, research or administrative management; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of purchasing methods and procedures.
  • Working knowledge with the Eprocurement system.
  • Working knowledge of PCard (e.g., polices, practices and/or procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Administering the agency's P-Card program by overseeing card issuance, account maintenance, fraud prevention and resolution, policy compliance, user training, reporting, and serving as the liaison with Bank of America and internal stakeholders.
  • Administers E-Procurement system access, provides helpdesk support, manages user security and profiles, resolves system issues, coordinates with the system vendor, oversees purchase order maintenance, and delivers end-user training across the agency.
  • Provides leadership and oversight to a Program Coordinator II.
  • Ability to write policy, procedures and training.
  • Ability to plan, assign and supervise the work of subordinate employees.
