About The Position

The Administrative Nursing Supervisor coordinates and supervises the activities of hospital personnel during evening, night, weekend, and/or holiday hours. This role supports high-quality patient care and safety by evaluating the performance of nursing and ancillary services, facilitating staffing, conducting campus-wide rounds, and responding to all in-house emergencies/serious events. The supervisor maintains frequent communication with all departments to ensure smooth patient flow and reduce barriers. This position supports compliance with hospital policies and procedures, customer experience needs, and incident management, acting as a liaison for smooth transitions across access points. As the administrative representative on-premises, this role provides continuity of round-the-clock leadership and safety. This position supports organizational goals by providing quality customer service, ensuring clear communication, participating in performance improvement efforts, and demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and cooperation.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current RN license required.
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of New Jersey.
  • American Heart Association BLS and ACLS required upon hire or transfer.
  • 3-5 years of nursing experience required.
  • Demonstrated progressive leadership responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in Clinical Applications preferred at time of hire; incumbents will be trained and skill will be required within 30-60 days.
