Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Computer proficiency required
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and build and maintain effective working relationships
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Ability to work weekends, and holidays on a rotating basis with other teammates
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent multi-tasking abilities

Nice To Haves

  • Completion of a certified or formal medical training program preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Support the care team by assisting Case Managers with daily task management and coordination of patient care needs
  • Complete prior authorizations for fertility medications, including submissions, follow-up, and coordination with pharmacies and insurance plans
  • Assist with medication-related workflows, including prescription coordination, pharmacy communication, and appeals processing
  • Review and manage patient portal messages, ensuring timely and appropriate responses or escalation to the care team
  • Prepare and process lab requisitions, ensuring accuracy and proper routing to outside laboratories
  • Assist with billing-related tasks for diagnostic workups
  • Draft and coordinate patient-facing and provider-facing documentation, including OB letters and other clinical correspondence
  • Support insurance-related processes, including benefit verification support and appeals coordination
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system
  • Collaborate closely with Administrative, Clinical, and Pharmacy teams to ensure continuity of care
  • Provide backup support to Back Office Medical Assistants as needed, including assisting with clinical workflows within scope and training
  • Adapt to changing workflow needs and support cross-functional team operation
  • Other duties as assigned
