About The Position

RAYUS Radiology is looking for an Administrative Manager to join their team. The company aims to challenge the status quo by shining light on radiology and making it a critical first step in diagnosis and proper treatment. As an Administrative Manager, you will be responsible for the oversight of the day-to-day operations in one or more administrative areas, which may include front office, registration, scheduling, medical records, and/or insurance. This role supervises team members at one or more Center(s) within a Market. Requirements

  • High School Diploma, or equivalent
  • Three (3) years' of supervisory experience in an office environment
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite; Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.
  • Proficient using computer systems and typing

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree in a related, relevant & applicable field
  • Three (3) years' medical office experience in a direct customer service role

Responsibilities

  • Manage applicable administrative departments, including direct supervision of department leads
  • Assist the Operations Manager with operational and growth initiatives, meetings with Senior Management, and budgeting
  • Implement strategic initiatives for the Market
  • Assist with monitoring management reports to ensure team member productivity and quality of service on a regular basis
  • Monitor team member staffing levels and coverage, including overtime, to ensure adherence to the budget
  • Assist in the maintenance of up-to-date and accurate database functions on all current and potential referring physicians
  • Coordinate patient relations, ensuring a high quality of patient service is delivered
  • Participate in the hiring, onboarding, and training of administrative team members
  • Prioritize the job flow of administrative team members
  • Manage overall team member staffing levels for adequate Center coverage at all times
  • Ensure comprehensive knowledge of company policies and procedures for administrative team members
  • Initiate and participate in team member performance evaluations, compensation and development, including performance improvement plans, disciplinary actions and/or terminations
  • Schedule and lead regular team meetings and team member one-on-ones
  • Ensures the administrative team members successfully function as a team
  • Act as liaison between technologists and the patients waiting for exams, relays messages regarding scanner status and other clinical information
  • Create and update the Center's information manuals as needed
  • Assist in greeting and checking-in patients scheduled for imaging services
  • Process payments as needed
  • Assist the front office in answering phones, scheduling patient examinations and pre-certification of exams with patients' insurance company according to existing company policy as appropriate and applicable
  • Communicate with the chief technologist(s) and radiologist(s) on scheduling matters
  • Completes other tasks and projects as assigned
