About The Position

Join Sellen’s Team. Come Build with Us. The Administrative Manager leads Sellen's Administrative service team and oversees the day-to-day operations of the office and facility. This role is equal parts people leader and operations manager - developing and coaching a team of administrative professionals while ensuring the systems, processes, and spaces that support project teams run smoothly. This position partners closely with the Director of Executive Office to set department priorities, drive continuous improvement, and deliver a high standard of internal service across the organization. You must have proven Administrative Leadership skills, along with Office and Facility Management experience. This position is located in our South Lake Union office in Seattle, WA, full-time (7am-4pm, Mon-Fri) . We offer free office parking for this position. This role requires being the building's main point of contact for after hours emergency response. Also, flexibility is required for after hours support for urgent project deadlines. You must be able to pass a motor vehicle record check for driving authorization of Sellen's vehicles.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of construction industry experience in an office support position handling a variety of administrative tasks.
  • 2+ years' supervisory or management experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent combination of experience and education required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and the full suite of applications in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proficient with Adobe Acrobat or Bluebeam software.
  • Knowledge of Procore (preferred).
  • Experience with at least one standard business accounting program.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Prioritize, manage assignments, expectations, and delivery from individuals on the Administrative Service team.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with project teams and vendors to coordinate deliverables/deadlines.
  • Communicate comfortably and effectively with diverse groups of people.
  • Lead, train, coach others.
  • Work with minimal supervision.
  • Solve problems effectively and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
