Curated Events, a premier event rental company, is seeking a motivated and experienced professional to fill the role of Administrative Manager. This position plays a crucial role in overseeing office administration, HR, payroll, and accounting functions to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, and is comfortable managing multiple responsibilities with a high level of organizational skills and attention to detail. The Administrative Manager will manage and coordinate office administration and procedures to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiency. This role involves a mix of HR, payroll, billing, and administrative responsibilities, partnering with both local and corporate teams.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in office management, administration, or assistant roles.
  • Strong understanding of financial accounting, payroll, and HR processes.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, QuickBooks, and ADP Workforce Now.
  • Strong customer service orientation and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and flexibility.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of hands-on financial accounting experience.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience managing timekeeping, payroll, and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly reports, along with general ledger tracking, budgeting, and managing labor costs.
  • Coordinate payroll, benefits, and HR administration, collaborating with the Corporate Payroll Manager.
  • Assist with accounts payable (AP) and receivable (AR) at the location level, including posting payments, processing deposits, and reconciling credit card payments.
  • Coordinate insurance billing and prepare financial reports as needed.
  • Manage recruiting processes, including creative sourcing strategies, posting positions, and screening candidates.
  • Process new hires and terminations, updating systems such as ADP, Employee Navigator, and other benefit platforms.
  • Track and process benefit insurance billing and assist with employee benefit enrollment and education.
  • Record, process, and follow up on Workers Compensation/Vehicle Accidents.
  • Ensure compliance with Federal and State employment laws, working closely with the management team.
