About The Position

The Administrative Graduate Assistant (AGA) will assist the School of Law’s Administrative Assistant to the Dean in her role as the principal contact for the Office of the Dean. Accordingly, the AGA will help the Dean’s Office in its daily functions while maintaining the image and standards of the law school.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) degree from a four-year college or university
  • Must be accepted into or currently enrolled in a graduate degree program at Liberty University
  • Possess a professional demeanor
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience in handling confidential and sensitive information with integrity and discretion
  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing to convey clear, well articulated information
  • Possess public communication skills that allow professional representation of Liberty University School of Law to a variety of visitors and guests
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong computer skills
  • Intuitively able to reason, analyze information and events, and apply judgment in order to solve problems of both a routine and complex nature

Responsibilities

  • Performing basic office duties
  • Conducting research
  • Keeping the Dean’s Suite and Administrative Suite organized and tidy
  • Planning and executing events
  • Setting up for meetings
  • Performing receptionist duties when needed
  • Running errands both on and off campus
  • Assisting other law school administrators as needed
