About The Position
This role is at Spirit AeroSystems, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company, within Spirit’s Defense Business Unit (Spirit Defense). Spirit Defense is an independent supplier to the defense and space marketplace, providing capabilities, technologies, and customer support through innovative engineering and rapid prototyping. The position supports functional areas such as finance, purchasing, or human resources, or a specific project, business, or technical unit. It gathers and verifies information from multiple sources, analyzes data, prepares reports and presentations using functional-area software, and provides information about processes and procedures. The role may also design processes to improve workflow.
Requirements
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance and Special Program Access; U.S. citizenship is required for these.
- 3–5 years of administrative support experience.

- An active U.S. Secret Security Clearance; a clearance active within the past 24 months is considered active. U.S. citizenship is required.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of activities in support of functional areas such as finance, purchasing, or human resources, or a specific project, business, or technical unit.
- Gather, collect, record, track, and verify data and information from multiple sources.
- Compile, review, and analyze data.
- Use functional-area software to compile and generate reports, statistics, timelines, tables, graphs, correspondence, and presentations.
- May design processes to enhance workflow.
- Provide data and information to others on functional-unit processes and procedures.
