About The Position

The Administrative Director of Outpatient Services provides visionary leadership to drive the strategic growth, performance, and innovation of outpatient behavioral health services. This role ensures high-quality, accessible care through effective program development, referral partnerships, operational oversight, and regulatory compliance. The Director champions interdisciplinary collaboration, patient-centered services, and continuous performance improvement. Fremont Hospital is a fully accredited, 148-bed private inpatient psychiatric hospital providing quality care for adolescents, adults and seniors. Dedicated to hope, healing and recovery, we are working to transform the delivery of healthcare. Fremont Hospital is located in the city of Fremont’s medical community, easily accessible to bay area residents. Our facility provides a continuum of services through assessments, inpatient psychiatric hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs. Requirements

  • Master’s degree in business, behavioral health, or a related field required; or equivalent combinations of education and experience.
  • Extensive experience in psychiatric/mental health field including in a lead/managerial/directorial capacity.
  • Successfully complete Fremont Hospital’s Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (CPI) training course (Blocking/Disengagement Skills Only) within 90 days of employment and prior to assisting with preventative intervention measures.
  • 35+ WPM typing speed.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, electronic health record, customer retention management software, and hospital management software.
  • Thorough knowledge of JCAHO/CMS, OSHA, state, and federal regulatory requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, PsyD, or PhD preferred.
