About The Position

The Administrative Director is a key position within the Bone & Joint Institute Strategy leadership structure and closely partners with the Institute Vice President, Medical Director and Chairman. This role provides administrative and operational oversight as well as acts as the point for strategic planning and execution, operations, management of strategic partnerships and physician recruitment and contracting for the Institute at a System level. Provides strategic leadership to the staff, providers by proactively identifying opportunities for enhanced operations, market share capture, new business, etc. Leads efforts to maximize institute operations including the optimization and development of provider schedules and utilization and on-boarding and ramping of new providers. Responsible for provider contracting, renewals, professional services agreements, and partnership agreements. Point person for the business planning process including the creation of initial proposals, and final PowerPoint presentations. Provides meaningful input in partnership with key stakeholders and serves as the project manager. Acts as representative for external partnerships including joint ventures and professional services agreements. Provides input and support related to the annual operating, statistical and capital budget. Leads efforts on provider recruitment including salary and any incentive compensation. Receives any patient concerns, customer experience complaints, grievances and patient discharge requests including those received by patient relations, insurance companies, and formulates action plans and responses. Key contributor for hospital and non-hospital-based compensation plans including the determination of clinical effort, non-clinical role and quality incentive targets.

Requirements

  • 6-10 Years of experience
  • Proficiency in strategic/business planning/execution
  • Proficiency in practice management/operations
  • Proficiency in finance
  • Proficiency in scheduling/access/KPI’s
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Proficient with Microsoft office products
  • Ability to communicate with patients, visitors and coworkers
