About The Position

Collects, organizes, monitors, and distributes information for several different functions in the company. Performs a wide-variety of administrative and staff support services.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED, plus 1-3 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience using computer applications, including Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos, as well as operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information one-on-one to other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentages.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Responsibilities

  • Greet visitors and answer phones.
  • Monitor labor entries.
  • Generate daily business reports and distribute to management staff (KPI’s, Rework Spreadsheet, etc.).
  • Run production reports and verify their accuracy.
  • Complete and close job cards.
  • Adjust costing when problems are identified.
  • Coordinates inventory adjustments and cycle counts for Power Products.
  • Verify all material and labor have been issued to jobs.
  • Issue and receive in purchase orders.
  • Enter/Schedule Power Products planning jobs.
  • Enter and monitor orders through customer supplied demand schedules.
  • Edit orders received for price and nomenclature.
  • Confirm orders to customers with acknowledgements.
  • Process change orders.
  • Make changes to or cancels orders/backorders.
  • Update Confirmed Order List and ERP.
  • Enter Field Service costs.
  • Establish a positive working relationship with customer base through telephone, e-mail, and facsimile communication.
  • Enter replacement parts orders, work with engineering, purchasing & shipping departments to obtain parts for customer.
  • Create pre-assembly picklists and ship loose packets. Document shortages on Build Schedule.
  • Research and resolve inventory discrepancies. Coordinates cycle counts for Power Products with Cost Accountant.
  • Utilize material planning report to determine required materials to meet production schedule.
  • Create, schedule, distribute, track, transfer & close out all Power Products stock parts jobs.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.
