Requirements

  • Previous administrative, staffing, scheduling, recruiting, or office coordination experience
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Ability to work independently and solve problems quickly
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and scheduling software
  • Experience working in healthcare, home care, or staffing environments preferred

Nice To Haves

  • Experience recruiting caregivers, NAs, CNAs, or healthcare professionals
  • Knowledge of home care operations and caregiver scheduling
  • Familiarity with Hawaii's healthcare landscape and workforce
  • Working knowledge of applicant tracking systems

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain caregiver schedules based on client care needs and caregiver availability.
  • Coordinate new client starts, schedule changes, and coverage for call-outs or emergencies.
  • Ensure continuity of care and consistent client and caregiver satisfaction.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and caregivers regarding scheduling updates.
  • Monitor and adjust schedules to optimize service delivery and staffing efficiency.
  • Recruit, interview, and hire qualified caregivers, including Nurse Aides (NA) and Certified Nurse Aides (CNA) and Homemakers/Companions.
  • Post and manage job advertisements on Indeed and other recruiting platforms.
  • Screen applicants for qualifications, experience, professionalism, and compassion.
  • Coordinate onboarding, orientation, and credential verification.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of quality caregivers to support agency growth.
  • Maintain accurate employee and client records.
  • Support compliance with agency policies and Hawaii state requirements.
  • Handle incoming calls, emails, and general office communications.
  • Collaborate with management to improve operational processes and caregiver retention.
