The Administrative Hearing Office is an independent office that coordinates and conducts virtual administrative hearings for the University Community. The goal of the hearing process is to resolve allegations of discrimination, Title IX matters, student conduct violations, personnel matters, and other related matters. The Administrative Coordinator manages the end-to-end lifecycle of administrative hearings, including but not limited to, case intake, communicating with participants, scheduling proceedings, sending required notices and information, and attending the proceedings to manage the zoom platform. The Administrative Coordinator works closely with the Administrative Hearing Officer ensuring alignment in schedules and proper distribution of information. This role is responsible for coordinating multiple hearings simultaneously that must adhere to procedural timelines. The Administrative Coordinator may encounter hearing participants that are navigating emotionally complex situations and/or have experienced traumatic situations. It is important that this role exhibit professionalism and provide support while maintaining appropriate boundaries. The ideal candidate will exercise discretion and maintain the highest standards of confidentiality, thrives in a detail-oriented environment, and can demonstrate high-level flexibility in managing a fluid hearing docket.
