About The Position

Memorial Hospital-Belleville has an opportunity for an Administrative Coordinator to work in Metro East Dialysis Access Center. In this role you will manage patient check-in and check-out procedures, including scheduling and confirming appointments. You will serve as the primary point of contact for incoming calls from patients and other medical offices. You will also secure prior authorizations for patient insurance coverage and maintain and manage administrative spreadsheets for tracking purposes. This is a Monday-Friday onsite position from 8a-4:30p.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2-5 years of experience

Nice To Haves

  • Previous healthcare experience is preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree

Responsibilities

  • Manage patient check-in and check-out procedures, including scheduling and confirming appointments.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming calls from patients and other medical offices.
  • Secure prior authorizations for patient insurance coverage.
  • Maintain and manage administrative spreadsheets for tracking purposes.
  • Types and distributes memos, correspondence and reports and composes documents as needed.
  • Coordinates and administers all office supplies and materials.
  • Schedules meetings and appointments, routes correspondence.
  • Provides support to office assistants as assigned.
