About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated and collaborative Day Hospitalist to join our team at Sentara Rockingham Memorial Hospital (SRMH). SRMH is a 238-bed, not-for-profit community hospital located in Harrisonburg, Virginia. It serves as a regional healthcare hub for the Shenandoah Valley, providing a wide range of services including advanced cardiovascular care, cancer treatment, surgical services, women’s health, and a Level III trauma center. SRMH is known for its patient-centered approach, modern facilities, and commitment to quality and safety, consistently earning recognition for clinical excellence and community-focused care within the Sentara Health system. The Hospitalist Physician provides inpatient medical care to the adult patient population, working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to support quality, safety, and efficient patient flow.
Requirements
- MD or DO
- Board Certified or Eligible (IM or FM), Certification must be obtained within 5 years of eligibility
- Eligible for licensure and credentialing in Virginia
Responsibilities
- Provides inpatient medical care to the adult patient population.
- Works collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to support quality, safety, and efficient patient flow.
